An outpatient/ambulatory infusion pharmacist position is available at a leading hospital in Aurora, CO. This 13-week contract role starts on September 28th with a schedule of 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The position involves specialized pharmacy work focusing on oncology and infusion patients within the outpatient setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing medication orders with attention to detail
- Dispensing and verifying hazardous and non-hazardous medications used in infusion therapy
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 2 years of infusion pharmacy experience; oncology/chemotherapy expertise is highly desirable
- Active Colorado pharmacy license in good standing
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Ability to work onsite in Aurora, CO (local candidates preferred)
This is a contract opportunity suited for pharmacists who are IV certified and experienced with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy practice in hospital settings.
