Provide critical pharmacy support as a Staff Pharmacist with IV certification, covering a home infusion pharmacy for a three-week period. This per diem opportunity requires dedication to sterile compounding and IV admixture practices, ensuring high standards of patient care and medication safety.

Location:

• Dallas, TX (with coverage at a Houston-based home infusion pharmacy)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Duration: Monday, 2/16 through Friday, 3/6

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding and IV admixture according to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Verify prescriptions and dosage information for home infusion therapies.
• Utilize CareTend software to manage medication orders and inventory; training will be provided.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• IV Certification required.
• Recent and solid experience with sterile compounding and intravenous admixtures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety in pharmacy operations.
