Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist IV Certified in Jersey City, NJ

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a skilled Home Infusion Pharmacist beginning Monday, November 2nd, with potential for contract-to-hire based on performance and fit. This role provides hands-on experience in sterile compounding and overseeing infusion pharmacy operations within a home care setting.

Location:

• Jersey City, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Choice of 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM shifts (7.5 hours daily)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile compounding of IV medications, primarily for pain management
• Supervise pharmacy technicians in the cleanroom environment
• Verify prescriptions and maintain strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards
• Utilize CareTend system for documentation and workflow management

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active New Jersey pharmacist license
• Minimum 1-2 years of strong IV/sterile compounding experience
• Prior home infusion pharmacy experience preferred; strong inpatient IV experience also considered
• Solid knowledge of sterile compounding regulations and compliance
• Dependable, proactive, and an effective team collaborator
