A home infusion pharmacy in the Houston area is seeking a qualified pharmacist to provide coverage during a leave of absence. This per diem opportunity requires someone with strong experience in sterile compounding and IV admixture to ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.

The assignment runs from Monday, February 16 through Friday, March 6, with a Monday through Friday schedule. Daily shifts are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a consistent and manageable workweek.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded intravenous medications with precision and adherence to protocols.
• Utilize CareTend software for order processing and documentation; training is available for those unfamiliar with the system.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to home infusion pharmacy services.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes during treatment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Current IV Certification demonstrating expertise in sterile compounding.
