A healthcare facility specializing in home infusion pharmacy requires experienced pharmacist coverage for a three-week period due to a leave of absence. This per diem opportunity offers a chance to apply your specialized skills in a dynamic and essential area of pharmacy practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sterile compounding and intravenous (IV) admixture preparation with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards related to pharmacy operations and sterile product preparation.
• Utilize pharmacy software for order processing, with training provided on CareTend.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and precise medication delivery to patients.

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Certification in IV therapy and sterile compounding.
• Proven recent experience in sterile compounding and IV admixture, demonstrating strong competency and attention to detail.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday.
• Working hours: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Coverage dates: Monday, February 16 to Friday, March 6.

Location:

• Opportunity located in Plano, Texas, with travel flexibility to Houston to perform the assignment if necessary.
