A home infusion pharmacy is seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a three-week per diem assignment covering a leave of absence. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in sterile compounding and IV admixture in a specialized setting, supporting patient care through precise medication preparation and delivery.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Rowlett, TX (with the pharmacy based in Houston, TX)
• Duration: Monday, February 16 through Friday, March 6
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Shift Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Software: CareTend (training provided)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications and intravenous admixtures in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Ensure medication accuracy, proper labeling, and adherence to protocols in an infusion pharmacy setting
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient-specific medication needs
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• IV Certification required
• Recent and solid experience in sterile compounding and intravenous admixture preparation
