Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Rowlett, Texas

Provide essential pharmacist coverage at a leading Home Infusion pharmacy supporting patients with specialized medication needs during a leave of absence. This per diem opportunity requires expertise in sterile compounding and intravenous admixture, ensuring quality and safety in medication preparation for outpatient infusion therapy.

Schedule and Location:

• Location: Rowlett, TX (with primary operations in Houston)
• Duration: Monday, February 16 to Friday, March 6
• Days: Monday through Friday
• Shift: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications, including IV admixtures, following regulatory and safety standards
• Utilize CareTend software for medication management; training provided for new users
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols and maintain accurate documentation of compounded products
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication therapy
• Maintain sterile environment and quality assurance during all compounding processes

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Texas Pharmacist License in good standing
• IV Certification is required
• Strong recent experience in sterile compounding and IV admixture preparation is essential
