Staff Pharmacist IV Certified in Spring, TX

A home infusion pharmacy with multiple nationwide locations seeks a Staff Pharmacist to join their Houston-area site on a contract-to-hire basis. This role focuses on managing complex infusion and specialty therapies while delivering essential patient care and clinical support.

Location: Spring, TX (on-site)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks with potential for hire
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized clinical support 24/7, addressing patient needs and offering drug information to healthcare providers.
• Compound and dispense complex medications, ensuring precision and safety in infusion preparation.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and insurers to facilitate seamless medication delivery and administration.
• Educate patients on medication use, adherence, side effects, and self-administration techniques for home infusion therapies.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations, keeping accurate records and ensuring a safe practice environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Texas pharmacist license.
• ACPE Sterile Compounding Certificate is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of infusion pharmacy experience.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy system is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
