Retail Staff Pharmacist | Janesville, Minnesota

A contract opportunity is available for a seasoned pharmacist to support a Specialty Pharmacy setting with a focus on Long Term Care. This role requires dedication to patient-centered care and offers a consistent schedule with some weekend shifts. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills along with certifications that enhance pharmacy services.

Location: Waseca, MN
Duration: 13+ weeks
Hours: 24-40 hours per week
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmacy services in a specialty pharmacy setting specializing in long term care
• Manage medication therapy and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Administer immunizations and provide patient education
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with pharmacy standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• PharmD degree or equivalent
• Immunization Certification required
• CPR Certification preferred
• MTM (Medication Therapy Management) Certification is a plus
• Proven experience as a retail or long term care pharmacist
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
