Join a dynamic healthcare team providing comprehensive pharmacy services in a culturally rich, diverse community on the Colorado Plateau. This contract role calls for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support patient care across inpatient, outpatient, and satellite clinic settings within a JCAHO-accredited health center serving the Navajo, Hopi, and Southern Paiute tribes.

Location: Kaibeto, AZ

Schedule / Hours:

  • 7-on/7-off rotation (Wednesday to Tuesday)
  • Hours alternating Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive medication management and pharmacy services to a wide range of patients including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric populations.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, medication therapy management, and expertise in inpatient/outpatient hospital departments.
  • Participate in rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Support pharmacy operations in accordance with facility policies and healthcare standards.
  • Opportunities for career advancement from Staff Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist, with increased clinical responsibilities and program development roles.
  • May include administrative duties such as supervising pharmacy staff and managing clinic operations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active pharmacist license (AZ license NOT required for this position)
  • Proven experience in clinical pharmacy practice within hospital or health system settings
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to quality patient care and adherence to healthcare regulations

Housing:
Shared housing units are available at approximately $600/month, subject to availability. Note: no family or pets allowed per facility policy. Limited housing options in the area.
