Staff Pharmacist in Kernersville, NC

This opportunity is ideal for a Staff Pharmacist with 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience seeking to work in a specialty retail environment focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with a possibility of direct hire after a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including both sterile and non-sterile compounded products
• Manage order entry using PK software (training provided)
• Counsel patients on proper medication usage and safety
• Ensure compliance with state pharmacy regulations and quality standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina pharmacy license is required
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
• Sterile compounding experience is highly desirable
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
• Ability to learn and use PK pharmacy software (training available)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
• Position duration: 13 weeks with potential for direct hire
