Per Diem Pharmacist - Kerrick, TX

Provide pharmacy services in a small, rural community health center serving patients primarily over 50 years old. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to support a close-knit team and make a meaningful impact on patient care in a rural setting.

Location:

• Kerrick, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st shift
• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
• No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
• Provide patient counseling to promote safe medication use
• Manage and support two experienced pharmacy technicians
• Maintain excellent communication within the pharmacy team

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Previous experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a rural healthcare environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Additional Details:

• Script volume approximately 120–130 prescriptions per day
• Pharmacy system: Liberty
• Housing options available: furnished on-site trailer or arranged accommodations based on candidate preference
