A per diem opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a rural community health center in Kerrick, TX. The position offers the chance to work in a small, close-knit pharmacy serving primarily patients aged 50 and older. This role runs from July 15th through July 31st, with shifts designed for a stable and balanced workweek.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately in a setting that fills approximately 120-130 scripts daily
• Provide patient counseling with a focus on an older adult population
• Oversee and manage a team of two experienced pharmacy technicians
• Utilize the Liberty pharmacy system for daily operations

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Texas pharmacist license is required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy environments is preferred
