Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Kerrick, Texas

Serve as a Staff Pharmacist at a rural community health center located in Kerrick, TX, delivering personalized care to a predominantly senior patient population. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to support a small pharmacy serving approximately 120–130 prescriptions daily, utilizing the Liberty pharmacy system and working alongside a dedicated team of two skilled technicians.

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Monday through Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
• Provide thorough counseling to patients, focusing on medication understanding and adherence
• Supervise and manage pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient operations
• Support daily pharmacy functions in a collaborative environment dedicated to community health

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license
• Prior experience in community health or retail pharmacy settings is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with a mature patient demographic
