Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Kerrick, Texas

A rural community health center in Kerrick, TX is seeking a Per Diem PRN Travel Pharmacist to support their pharmacy operations during a short-term assignment from July 15th to July 31st. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a smaller, close-knit environment serving primarily patients aged 50 and older.

Location: Kerrick, TX
Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety
• Provide expert patient counseling, particularly serving an older patient demographic
• Manage pharmacy technicians effectively to maintain smooth workflow
• Work within the pharmacy system (Liberty) and handle a prescription volume averaging 120-130 scripts daily

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Texas pharmacist license required
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage pharmacy staff efficiently
