Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Kerrick, TX

A rural community health center in Kerrick, TX is seeking a knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist for a per diem assignment. This role supports a small pharmacy serving primarily patients aged 50 and older, with an average daily prescription volume of 120-130.

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• No weekend hours

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Provide patient counseling tailored to an older demographic
• Manage and support a team of two skilled pharmacy technicians
• Operate within the Liberty pharmacy system to maintain workflow

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Texas pharmacist license
• Experience in community health or retail pharmacy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
