Staff Pharmacist - Kevin, Montana

This position requires a licensed pharmacist to independently manage daily pharmacy operations in a retail setting, dispensing approximately 100 prescriptions per day. The role is based in Cut Bank, Montana, and involves a contract assignment for approximately 8 weeks starting immediately, with an urgent need by July 1. The pharmacist will work first shift hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, serving as the sole pharmacist on-site and utilizing PioneerRx pharmacy software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and ensure their safe delivery to customers.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence to prescribed regimens.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in accordance with organizational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate stock levels, controlled drug records, and perform inventory management.
• Resolve patient issues and work with third-party payers to clarify coverage.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, clear Montana Pharmacist License.
• A minimum of one year of recent pharmacy experience.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software, preferably PioneerRx.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as the sole pharmacist on site.
