Staff Pharmacist - Kingsley, Michigan

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position based in Kingsley, MI, offering a contract role with the potential for direct hire. The position operates within a retail pharmacy environment and requires dedicated professionals to manage daily pharmacy operations efficiently.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• Rotating Saturdays (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and provide patient counseling in compliance with pharmacy laws and company policies
• Manage prescription processing and order entry using the RX30 system
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and ensure patient safety
• Maintain proper inventory levels and verify prescription accuracy
• Provide leadership and support to pharmacy staff during shifts

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan pharmacy license required
• Previous retail pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Experience with RX30 system is advantageous; training available if needed
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
