Staff Pharmacist | Kirtland, New Mexico

A hospital pharmacist position is available in the Farmington, NM area with a flexible 7 on/7 off day shift schedule that aligns well with hospital staff needs. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers the chance to expand clinical experience in a supportive medical environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Order Verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• IV Verification supporting safe and effective intravenous therapy
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Engaging in clinical pharmacy activities as encouraged by the Director of Pharmacy

Required Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with Cerner pharmacy software
• Experience using Pyxis dispensing cabinets

Schedule:

• Days
• 7 days on/7 days off rotation with some flexibility

This position starts as soon as possible and will initially last for 13 weeks or longer. Compensation ranges from $60 to $70 per hour.
