A 13-week travel opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a 100-bed community hospital in Southern Oregon. This contract role requires an individual with a strong background in inpatient pharmacy practices, eager to support hospital operations through efficient medication management and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Location

  • Klamath Falls, OR

Schedule/Hours

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Variable days and afternoon shifts

Responsibilities

  • Verify medication orders accurately and promptly
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Consult with physicians and nurses regarding pharmacological needs and adjustments
  • Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize patient medication therapy
  • Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and inventory control

Qualifications/Desired Experience

  • Active Oregon pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible scheduling
