A 13-week contract opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a 100-bed community hospital in Southern Oregon. This role involves working a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable days and afternoons. The position requires a pharmacist with at least one year of inpatient experience who is fully licensed in Oregon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance.
- Consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication therapy.
- Perform pharmacokinetic evaluations and support clinical decision-making.
- Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon pharmacist license.
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
- Ability to work full-time with variable shifts, including afternoons.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Location:
- Klamath Falls, OR – Southern Oregon region.
