Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Kyle, TX

An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage at a pharmacy location in Kyle, TX. This role offers focused weekday shifts with consistent hours, making it ideal for professionals seeking flexible work while expanding their clinical experience.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication use and safety.
• Utilize Pioneer Rx system for prescription processing and documentation.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other staff to ensure efficient pharmacy operations.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety protocols governing pharmacy practice.
• Support inventory management and maintain clean, organized work areas.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Coverage needed June 15–19 and July 13–17

Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist licensure and ability to practice in Texas.
• Proven experience in community pharmacy settings, preferably with Pioneer Rx software.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time during busy shifts.
• Prior involvement in per diem or flexible pharmacy roles is a plus.
