Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Kyle, TX

A pharmacy is seeking experienced staff pharmacists to provide essential coverage on a per diem basis. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong pharmacy skill set who are available to support patient care with dependable shift coverage.

Location:

• Kyle, TX

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Coverage needed for two separate weeks:
  • June 15–19, 2026
  • July 13–17, 2026

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medication use
• Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy system for prescription processing and documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards
• Provide exceptional patient care and address patient inquiries professionally

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems
• Experience working in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Additional Information:

• Pharmacy technician support will be provided to assist with dispensing and workflow
• Recent hiring of per diem pharmacists has been made, but additional coverage is needed to fully staff shifts
