Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - La Grange, KY

A pharmacy professional is sought to provide per diem coverage at a specialty HIV/AIDS pharmacy through the summer into the holiday season. This role involves supporting sick call coverage and maintaining efficient pharmacy operations in a dynamic retail environment.

Location: La Grange, KY

Schedule:

• Wednesday, 5/13: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Thursday, 5/14: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, 5/15: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  Possibility of 4 hours of paid training before dates listed

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Verify prescriptions according to pharmacy standards
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations
• Assist with sick call coverage as needed
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for daily pharmacy operations

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Kentucky
• Retail pharmacy experience, including prescription verification and dispensing
• Familiarity with HIV/AIDS medications is a strong advantage
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Proficient in using pharmacy management software, preferably Pioneer Rx
