Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enter, interpret, and review prescriptions, ensuring safe medication use.
  • Perform drug utilization reviews and manage prescriber communications for issue resolution.
  • Compound and dispense prescribed medications while supervising pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Fill prescriptions for pharmaceutical preparations and devices efficiently.
  • Handle submission of claims for third-party reimbursement.
  • Consult with healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
  • Respond to pharmaceutical inquiries from patients and staff.
  • Monitor storage, distribution, and proper use of pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant pharmacy experience.
  • Licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted license in Indiana.
  • Clean criminal record with no felonies.

Location:

  • Lafayette, Indiana
