Staff Pharmacist - Lafayette, IN

A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist specializing in outpatient pharmacy services. This position is based in Lafayette, Indiana, offering a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Enter, interpret, and review prescriptions accurately
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and resolve related issues
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed
• Supervise professional and support staff within the pharmacy
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
• Fill prescriptions for pharmaceutical preparations and medical devices
• Submit third-party reimbursement claims appropriately
• Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters
• Provide answers to pharmaceutical questions posed by patients and staff
• Monitor storage, distribution, and use of pharmaceuticals to ensure safety and efficacy
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant pharmacy experience
• Licensed as a registered pharmacist with an unrestricted Indiana license
• Clean criminal record without any felonies

This permanent position offers a salary range of approximately $110,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
