Staff Pharmacist - Lafayette, IN

An outpatient pharmacist opportunity is available with a direct hire placement in Lafayette, IN. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, suitable for experienced pharmacists seeking a stable, full-time position in a professional outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter, interpret, and review prescriptions.
• Conduct drug utilization reviews and resolve issues related to prescriptions.
• Communicate with prescribers regarding prescriptions and patient care.
• Compound and dispense prescribed medications.
• Supervise pharmacy staff, including both professional and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.
• Manage prescription filling for pharmaceutical preparations and devices.
• Submit claims for third-party reimbursement as needed.
• Consult with healthcare providers, such as physicians and nurses, on pharmaceutical matters.
• Respond to pharmaceutical inquiries from patients and staff.
• Monitor the proper storage, distribution, and use of medications.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three years of relevant pharmacy experience.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Indiana.
• Clean criminal background with no felony convictions.

This is a permanent, direct hire role with a competitive salary approximately ranging from $110,000 to $120,000, depending on experience.
