Retail Staff Pharmacist | Lancaster, Pennsylvania

A full-time pharmacist position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in York, PA. This direct hire role offers an opportunity to work a consistent schedule with varied daily responsibilities aimed at delivering excellent patient care and pharmacy operations support.

Location: York, PA
Schedule:

• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  Hours: Days/Afternoons (62 hours bi-weekly)

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to maintain control of pharmaceutical inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering stock to meet customer needs and optimize profitability.
• Accurately prepare and dispense medications, including weighing, measuring, mixing, and filling prescriptions and over-the-counter products. Provide expert advice to patients on self-medication.
• Conduct patient immunizations regularly to support community health.
• When acting in the manager’s absence, oversee pharmacy associate scheduling, recognize and reward performance, handle disciplinary issues, and assign work to ensure operational efficiency and achieve company profit goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.
• Immunization certification in Pennsylvania is preferred.
