Per Diem Retail Pharmacist in Laporte, MN

Join a partnership to provide expert pharmaceutical care at a specialty pharmacy serving the Walker, MN community. This per diem opportunity is available from June through September, covering weekend shifts that support both long-term care and retail pharmacy needs.

Location: Walker, MN

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays
• 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive pharmacological services including dispensing, reviewing prescriptions, and advising patients and healthcare providers.
• Support long-term care pharmacy operations alongside retail pharmacy functions.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in immunization administration and other patient care initiatives as needed.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with a PharmD degree preferred.
• Experience in retail and long-term care pharmacy settings.
• Immunization Certification and CPR Certification required.
• Medication Therapy Management (MTM) certification is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage diverse pharmacy duties independently.
