Staff Pharmacist in Lawrence, KS

A direct hire opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist at a site located in Lawrence, KS (Lenexa area). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations, with a preference for experience in long-term care (LTC), and be ready to contribute immediately to the pharmacy team.

Location: Lawrence, KS (Lenexa site)

Schedule/Hours:

• 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Flexibility to work both shifts
• On-call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform prescription verification (PV1)
• Complete order entry and clinical review using the Frameworks system
• Assist in medication therapy management and collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide pharmacy coverage as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Kansas pharmacist license (must have in hand)
• Previous experience in a long-term care setting highly preferred
• Retail MTM pharmacist experience may be considered
• Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and clinical review processes
• Ability to adapt to multiple shift schedules and on-call duties
