A well-established group of independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a knowledgeable and adaptable pharmacist to provide critical support across multiple locations. This per diem position begins by covering one site with the potential to expand into a part-time floater role, supporting up to 30-35 hours weekly across four pharmacies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing primary retail pharmacy duties, including dispensing and counseling
  • Handling a daily volume of approximately 100-150 prescriptions
  • Processing specialty medications and preparing packages for mail and courier delivery
  • Providing patient care and interacting with a diverse community
  • Utilizing pharmacy software (PrimeRX experience preferred) to maintain accurate records

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and retail medication dispensing
  • Ability to adapt quickly and float between multiple pharmacy locations
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse patient populations

Location:

  • Based in Lawrenceville, GA, with responsibilities across multiple metro Atlanta locations

Schedule:

  • Typical hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Per diem hours with potential growth to part-time (up to 35 hours/week)
