Staff Pharmacist | Lenoir, North Carolina

Join a 150-bed community hospital in Western North Carolina seeking two skilled pharmacists to enhance their pharmacy team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems, with a schedule designed for work-life balance.

Location:

• Morganton, NC

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Mix of day and afternoon shifts (approximately 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM)

Role Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses for medication management and patient safety
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication dispensing and patient records management

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist eligible to practice in North Carolina
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis medication management systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to consult effectively with healthcare teams
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
