Pharmacist in Lewistown, PA

A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a community hospital with approximately 150 beds. This contract position requires a motivated professional ready to start immediately for a duration of 5 to 6 months or longer.

This role offers a dynamic schedule with variable day and afternoon shifts, providing some flexibility to accommodate work-life balance. The hospital utilizes Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis systems, so experience with these platforms, especially Meditech, is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities include:

• Order verification to ensure accurate medication dispensing
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
• Consulting with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability for the duration of the contract
• Familiarity with Meditech is highly preferred
