Staff Pharmacist - Littleton, Colorado

An immediate opening is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in the Denver metropolitan area. This 13-week contract position involves floating between two nearby facilities, providing clinical expertise and ensuring safe medication use.

Schedule and Location:

• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts on weekdays and 6-hour shifts on weekends
• 36 to 40 hours per week total
• Approximately 3 days per week at the Aurora site, 1-2 days per week at the Denver site (subject to adjustment based on business needs)
• Role requires flexibility to work across both locations in the Denver area

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and quality standards
• Conduct pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Support general inpatient pharmacy operations ensuring compliance and safety

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy experience, including hospital pharmacy background
• Strong clinical and communication skills to interact effectively with healthcare teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple duties in a fast-paced environment
