Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Littleton, CO

A retail pharmacy associated with a hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist for coverage from August 24th to August 28th. This per diem opportunity offers a chance to manage the pharmacy independently, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a supportive environment.

Location: Haxtun, Colorado
Assignment Dates: August 24th – August 28th
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• 1-hour lunch break

Responsibilities:

• Patient counseling to ensure proper medication use and understanding
• Accurate filling and dispensing of prescriptions
• Performing final verifications on prescriptions
• Managing pharmacy operations as the sole pharmacist on site

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a pharmacist, but new graduates are welcome
• Comfortable operating pharmacy independently with minimal staff support

Pharmacy Team & Environment:

• Supported by 2 full-time pharmacy technicians
• Occasional presence of a PRN pharmacist but generally working solo
• Handling approximately 500 prescriptions per week

Housing and Accommodations:

• Onsite hospital housing may be available (subject to availability)
• If onsite housing is unavailable, hotel accommodations will be arranged
