A per diem opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to support a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. This role provides critical pharmacy services through telepharmacy support and direct management of pharmaceutical operations in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Lunch daily from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
  • No holidays or weekend shifts required
  • Dates needed: January 29 and 30

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery
  • Overseeing ordering of equipment and maintaining supply inventory
  • Applying best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances
  • Verifying prescription details with healthcare providers as necessary
  • Maintaining approved drug lists and monitoring expiration dates
  • Monitoring pharmacy product displays, shelves, and general appearance
  • Addressing customer requests and complaints professionally
  • Keeping accurate records of inventory, patient information, and insurance claims
  • Supporting retail pharmacy operations and providing telepharmacy assistance
  • Collaborating with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure staff progress and pharmacy needs
  • Ensuring pharmacy services comply fully with state and federal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
  • Immunization license
  • Resume and skills checklist available
  • References available upon request
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
