This position offers an exciting opportunity to serve as a Staff Pharmacist in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy setting. The role is Per Diem with scheduled hours Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a lunch break daily from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. There are no holiday or weekend shifts required, with work dates specifically starting 1/29 and 1/30.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare medications and prescription orders for collection or delivery with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage and oversee the ordering and inventory control of equipment, supplies, and medications.
  • Ensure compliance by applying best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription information in collaboration with healthcare providers when needed.
  • Maintain an approved list of drugs and controlled substances, regularly checking expiry dates.
  • Monitor pharmacy displays, shelves, and overall environment to uphold professional standards.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records including inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
  • Support telepharmacy services as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to meet the pharmacy’s operational goals.
  • Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current, verified Indiana Pharmacist license.
  • Immunization license required.
  • Proficiency with Liberty RX software preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to provide a resume, skills checklist, and professional references.
