Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Logansport, Indiana

A Per Diem pharmacist position is available at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy, offering a focused work schedule with no holidays or weekends. This role requires familiarity with pharmacy operations and compliance within a community health setting.

Location: Logansport, IN
Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  Work Dates: January 29 and 30

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders accurately for collection or delivery
• Oversee ordering of pharmacy equipment and supplies
• Manage inventory control adhering to best practices
• Ensure proper storage and handling of prescription drugs and controlled substances, including maintaining expiry dates
• Verify prescriptions with healthcare providers when necessary
• Maintain pharmacy appearance and product displays
• Address customer requests and concerns professionally
• Keep accurate records involving inventory, patient data, and insurance claims
• Provide telepharmacy support as needed
• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to support pharmacy staff and operations
• Comply with all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist License (verification required)
• Immunization certification/license
• Resume, skills checklist, and professional references required
• Spanish language skills are a plus
