Staff Pharmacist - Lompoc, California

A dynamic opportunity is available for a California-licensed pharmacist with hospital experience to support pharmacy services at a facility providing care for 60 acute care and over 100 long-term care beds. This 13-week contract position offers an immediate start and is based on the beautiful California coast.

Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, consulting with physicians and nurses, and applying pharmacokinetics knowledge to optimize medication therapy. The candidate will work with Altera Sunrise pharmacy IT systems, with training provided for those unfamiliar with this platform.

Schedule:

• Variable day and afternoon shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Current California pharmacist license
• Recent hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to variable schedules and new IT systems
