Pharmacist Opportunity – Acute and Long-Term Care Pharmacy Services – Coastal California Location

This 13-week contract offers a dynamic role supporting pharmacy operations in a healthcare facility with 60 acute care beds and over 100 long-term care beds. The position starts ASAP and includes a schedule of variable days and afternoons, structured as four 10-hour shifts per week. You will gain experience working with the Altera Sunrise system, with training provided for this less common platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff on medication management and pharmacokinetics
• Support day-to-day pharmacy operations in both acute and long-term care settings

• Current pharmacist license in California
• Demonstrated hospital pharmacy experience
