Pharmacist - Long Beach, CA

Join a dynamic pharmacy team serving a leading county hospital within a large health system. Location: Long Beach, CA
Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (variable days and afternoons)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and prepare medications for inpatient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory pharmacy standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and participate in medication safety initiatives
• Pass a pharmacy competency examination to demonstrate proficiency

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist licensure in California
• Preferred: PGYI residency completion or approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to work flexible schedules including afternoons and variable days
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
• Commitment to quality care and patient safety
