Pharmacy professionals are needed for a long-term contract position within a major county health system hospital setting. Location:
- Sylmar, CA (within the Los Angeles County Department of Health System)
Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts
- Flexibility required to work primarily first and second shifts, with occasional third shifts
Desired Experience:
- Preference for new PGY-1 residents
- Consideration given to pharmacists with hospital experience, including interns, even if not PGY-1 trained
- Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience is highly desirable
Responsibilities:
- Provide pharmaceutical care in an inpatient hospital environment
- Participate in on-site interviews as part of the selection process
- Pass a competency exam (one chance only) guaranteeing readiness and proficiency
- Complete livescan background check prior to start
- Must comply with all onboarding requirements which typically take 4 to 6 weeks
