Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Lorain, OH

Per Diem Pharmacists are sought for a new pilot staffing partnership with a growing retail grocery pharmacy network. Beginning with the Canton, OH location, this initiative intends to expand to multiple sites, offering ongoing PRN coverage opportunities for 1 to 3 reliable pharmacists. Consistent availability is highly valued to support seamless pharmacy operations.

Location: Canton, OH with potential to float between nearby locations.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently within a high-volume retail pharmacy, averaging approximately 800 prescriptions weekly.
• Collaborate with a team typically consisting of 2-3 pharmacy technicians per shift.
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRx software for processing prescriptions.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Participate in store training and onboarding prior to first assignment.
• Adapt to fluctuating workflow and float between area locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license is required.
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to provide reliable, consistent availability for PRN shifts.
• Flexibility to float to different locations within the service area.
