A retail pharmacy position is available in Los Alamos, NM, offering an opportunity for a qualified pharmacist to support a busy pharmacy environment with approximately 600 prescriptions filled daily. This contract-to-hire role requires flexibility to start shifts at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM, with store hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, including rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and oversee pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide patient counseling
• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; no compounding required)
• Maintain accuracy and adherence to pharmacy protocols in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico pharmacist license
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is an advantage
• Background in a high-volume pharmacy setting preferred
