Staff Pharmacist | Los Angeles, California

Located in the Greater Los Angeles Area, this pharmacy opportunity involves serving at multiple outpatient oncology infusion sites, including locations in West LA, Santa Monica, and Atascadero. The assignment is a contract role with a duration of approximately 13 to 20 weeks, featuring consistent Monday through Friday day shifts.

Responsibilities include verifying intravenous (IV) preparations with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. Candidates should have solid experience with USP 797/800 standards and expertise in IV medication preparation. While chemotherapy experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records will be beneficial.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials in California
• Proven experience in outpatient oncology infusion or similar pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
• Competency in preparing and verifying IV medications
• Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems
• Flexibility to travel between sites within the Los Angeles metropolitan area
