Outpatient Pharmacist opportunities are available with a leading county hospital system in Los Angeles, CA. These roles focus on ambulatory care pharmacy services, providing essential support to outpatient clinics within a large health system. Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications to outpatient clients accurately and efficiently.
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and storage.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate in competency assessments required by the facility.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist eligible to work in California.
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings is acceptable.
• Preference given to candidates with a PGY1 residency or approximately two years of current inpatient experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Successful completion of a competency exam is mandatory prior to starting.
• Ability to pass Livescan background check.

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 8-hour shifts.

Location:

• Los Angeles, CA, at outpatient facilities affiliated with the county hospital system.

Contract Details:

• Initial contract period estimated between 12 to 24 months, with potential extension.
