Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Los Angeles, California

A healthcare facility in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist to provide essential support on an upcoming weekend shift. This role is ideal for pharmacists with recent hospital experience who are available and looking to contribute to quality patient care on a flexible schedule.

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule:

• Saturday, 3/28, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Sunday, 3/29, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  Type: Per Diem

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check inpatient medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, overseeing medication preparation and distribution
• Collaborate within a small hospital environment to support efficient pharmacy operations
• Utilize CPSI electronic medical record system for documentation and workflow management
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Recent hospital pharmacy experience within the past 12 months is acceptable for compliance
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy practices and medication safety
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably CPSI
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
