Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Los Angeles, CA

A retail pharmacy in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting approximately 60-70 prescriptions daily, ensuring patients receive the highest level of service and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications following all legal, regulatory, and company policies
• Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Utilize pharmacy systems such as Datascan (knowledge is a plus but not required)

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license
• Some pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Per diem (PRN) flexibility
