A retail pharmacy in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting approximately 60-70 prescriptions daily, ensuring patients receive the highest level of service and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications following all legal, regulatory, and company policies
- Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, and potential interactions
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Utilize pharmacy systems such as Datascan (knowledge is a plus but not required)
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pharmacist license
- Some pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Per diem (PRN) flexibility
