Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Louisville, KY

Take a key role supporting specialized pharmacy services with focused per diem opportunities through the summer and holiday season. This role offers flexibility and meaningful work within an HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy setting, providing essential medication management and patient care.

Location:

• Louisville, KY

Schedule:

• Wednesday 5/13: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Thursday 5/14: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Friday 5/15: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Paid 4-hour training may be available before assigned shifts

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties including filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately
• Verify and check medication orders for safety and compliance
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring smooth workflow
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for prescription processing
• Provide specialized care with a focus on HIV/AIDS medications (experience a strong plus)
• Cover sick calls as needed to maintain pharmacy operations

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in the state of Kentucky (KY license required)
• Experience in retail pharmacy setting, familiarity with FDA-regulated medications strongly preferred
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS medications and specialty pharmacy practices beneficial
• Strong communication and supervisory skills
• Proficient with pharmacy software, ideally Pioneer Rx
