Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Louisville, Kentucky

Seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage at a specialty pharmacy focused on HIV/AIDS medications. This role offers flexibility with scheduled shifts through the summer and into the holiday season, including coverage for sick calls. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in retail pharmacy operations and familiarity with HIV/AIDS medication management.

Location:

• Louisville, KY

Schedule:

• Wednesday, 5/13 | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Thursday, 5/14 | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• Friday, 5/15 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. *4 hours of paid training may be scheduled prior to coverage dates

Responsibilities:

• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Check and verify medications for accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow and compliance
• Utilize Pioneer Rx software for dispensing and documentation
• Support specialized HIV/AIDS medication management (experience preferred)

Qualifications:

• Current and active Kentucky pharmacist license required
• Strong knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and medication dispensing
• Experience or interest in HIV/AIDS specialty pharmacy is a significant plus
• Ability to supervise pharmacy technicians effectively
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy dispensing systems
