A hospital-based pharmacist role is available in a healthcare facility located near Loveland, OH, starting June 1st for a 13+ week contract. This position operates on a unique 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule, working from Thursday night through Wednesday night, 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately review, interpret, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions.
  • Monitor and manage patient medication therapies to ensure appropriateness and efficacy.
  • Maintain adherence to pharmacy policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide drug information and counseling to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Participate in drug therapy management during medical emergencies.
  • Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technician daily activities to support patient care.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program.
  • Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
  • Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams and patients.

Work Schedule:

  • 7 consecutive night shifts followed by 7 nights off.
  • Shift hours: 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Thursday through Wednesday.
