Staff Pharmacist | Loveland, Ohio

Join a hospital pharmacy team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through expert medication management and collaboration. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed Ohio pharmacist with hospital experience seeking a focused night shift role on a 7-on/7-off schedule.

Location: Lancaster, OH
Schedule: Nights, Thursday night through Wednesday night, 8:00 pm – 7:30 am
Start Date: June 1
Duration: 13+ weeks contract

Responsibilities:

• Accurately review, interpret, validate, and dispense medication orders and prescriptions
• Monitor and manage patient medication therapies ensuring safety, efficacy, and appropriateness for patient age and condition
• Provide drug information and education to patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in emergency drug therapy management including rapid response to emergent situations and medication preparation
• Coordinate pharmacy technician activities to meet operational and patient care needs
• Maintain compliance with departmental policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold a safe, efficient work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an accredited college of pharmacy
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy License in good standing with the state board
• Minimum one year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for team collaboration and patient interaction
