Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Lyle, Washington

A critical access hospital situated in a small town on the Washington-Oregon border is seeking a skilled pharmacist with at least one year of current hospital experience for a per diem relief position. This 25-bed facility provides a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit healthcare environment where your contributions directly impact community health.

This role begins with an initial training period to familiarize you with the facility’s procedures and systems before providing coverage on selected dates from mid-July through September. The schedule includes weekday shifts primarily on Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with pharmacy technician support and no on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a timely manner
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records and Pyxis automated medication dispensing system proficiently
• Monitor medication therapy and provide recommendations for adjustments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of one year hospital pharmacy experience in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with Cerner and Pyxis systems preferred
