Staff Pharmacist - Madison, WI

A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist experienced in pharmacy operations and medication dispensing. This role offers a 13-week contract with potential extensions, providing a consistent day shift schedule primarily Monday through Friday with some Saturday hours.

Location:

• Madison, WI

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on their proper use.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Utilize Pioneer RX pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and inventory efficiently.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy.
• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality in all pharmacy activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy License.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating skills in customer service and medication management.
• Proficiency with Pioneer RX computer system preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality patient care.
