Employment Type: Travel Contract — Temp to Hire Considered
Assignment Length: 13 weeks or longer

Responsibilities
Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
Supervise and support pharmacy technician staff as needed
Consult with physicians and nurses on medication therapy and patient care needs
Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring and dosing adjustments for targeted medications
Ensure safe medication dispensing and regulatory compliance throughout daily operations
Provide clinical coverage across hospital units during scheduled shifts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
Experience
Prior acute care hospital pharmacy experience required
Comfortable adapting quickly to new hospital systems and workflows
Pharmacokinetics experience preferred
Skills
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
Effective communicator with physicians, interns, nurses, and healthcare team members
Adaptable and reliable across different acute care hospital environments
Comfortable integrating into established hospital pharmacy teams quickly
Qualifications
Active Wisconsin Pharmacist License required — or willing to obtain
Wisconsin offers an Act 10 temporary credential, enabling pharmacists licensed in good standing in another state to begin working while their full Wisconsin license is being processed

Education
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
