A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Northern Wisconsin. This role is ideal for a licensed professional with experience in dispensing and managing prescriptions, ensuring patient safety, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects
  • Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for controlled substances and pharmacy operations
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies
  • Support inventory management and medication storage procedures to ensure quality and availability

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Wisconsin
  • Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist or Pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
  • Strong knowledge of prescription processing and pharmaceutical care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Northern Wisconsin as required

  • Northern Wisconsin, with assignments based in and around Marengo, WI
