Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Marietta, GA

A per diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available to support a group of four independently owned and operated community pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area. This role begins as PRN coverage at one location with potential to expand into a part-time floater position covering up to 30-35 hours weekly across all four sites.

Location: Marietta, GA area
Schedule/Hours:

• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Manage primary retail pharmacy duties with daily prescription volumes ranging from 100 to 150
• Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper use
• Handle specialty medications and prepare packaging for delivery via mail and courier
• Maintain effective communication with patients and pharmacy teams across multiple locations
• Utilize pharmacy software (PrimeRX experience preferred) for prescription processing and record keeping

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Approximately 2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a diverse pharmacy team
• Ability to adapt to floating between multiple sites efficiently
• Strong patient interaction and communication skills
• Knowledge of specialty medication handling is a plus
