Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Marietta, GA

A well-established pharmacy group is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem support across a family of four independently owned and operated retail pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area. This position will initially focus on coverage at one site, with the potential to expand into a part-time floater role covering up to 30-35 hours weekly across all locations, depending on performance and fit.

Location: Marietta, GA
Job Type: Per Diem, with potential PT floater opportunity
Schedule/Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform primary retail pharmacy duties, including prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and management to maintain smooth operations across multiple sites
• Utilize pharmacy software (PrimeRX experience preferred) to manage prescriptions efficiently
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ensuring accurate medication dispensing

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current and valid pharmacist licensure in the state where practicing
• Retail pharmacy experience with a minimum familiarity in dispensing and patient interaction
• Proficiency or willingness to learn PrimeRX pharmacy software is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and manage responsibilities across multiple pharmacy locations
