Per Diem Pharmacist - Marion, VA

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position working every Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a retail and compounding environment. The role involves primarily retail order entry and verification, with some responsibility for checking non-sterile compounded medications and performing calculations related to formulas. Candidates will work using the Pioneer RX system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct retail prescription checks with accuracy and attention to detail
• Verify non-sterile compounded medications, including formula math
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia pharmacy license is required
• Proven retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a strong advantage
• Ability to perform dosage calculations and formula verification
• Experience with Pioneer RX system preferred, but not mandatory

Schedule:

• Fridays, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
