This per diem opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist looking to apply their retail and compounding expertise in a focused, part-time role. You will work primarily on Fridays from 9am to 5pm in a retail and non-sterile compounding environment, providing essential accuracy and safety checks for prescriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform retail prescription checks with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Review and verify non-sterile compounding formulations, applying mathematical skills to confirm formulas.
• Use Pioneer RX software for order entry and verification.
• Maintain efficient workflow on the retail line while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia pharmacy license is required.
• Experience working in retail pharmacy settings.
• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a strong plus.
• Competency with Pioneer RX or similar order entry systems preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate compounding verification.
