Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Maryville, Missouri

An opportunity is available for a PRN Staff Pharmacist to support retail operations from July 28 to July 31. This per diem position offers flexible shifts at a busy pharmacy with strong technician support.

Location:

• Maryville, MO

Schedule:

• July 28 to July 31
• Shift options: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy policies
• Counsel patients regarding their medications and answer queries professionally
• Serve as the second pharmacist on duty, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians to manage an average daily volume of 200+ prescriptions

Qualifications:

• Active, clear Missouri pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
