This per diem opportunity is tailored for a licensed pharmacist seeking to provide expert retail pharmacy services on a flexible schedule. You will play a critical role as the second pharmacist in a busy retail pharmacy environment, supporting daily operations and ensuring excellent patient care through accurate medication dispensing and counseling.

Schedule/Hours:

• July 28 to July 31
• Choose from two shifts daily: • 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM • 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Pharmacy hours of operation: • Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and verify prescriptions, ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards
• Counsel patients effectively on medication use and health management
• Collaborate as the second pharmacist on duty, leveraging strong technician support to handle an average daily volume exceeding 200 prescriptions
• Maintain efficient workflow in a fast-paced retail environment

Qualifications:

• Current and active Missouri pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Excellent communication and patient service skills
