Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist in Massillon, OH

A pharmacy opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in a health center and retail pharmacy setting near Akron and Uniontown, OH. This role supports pharmacy operations with the assistance of experienced pharmacy technicians and is ideal for licensed pharmacists seeking flexible hours while remaining local to the Akron area to help reduce or eliminate travel expenses for the client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately to patients in a health center/retail environment.
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and standards.
• Utilize pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage inventory. Experience with New Leaf system is a plus but not required.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Ohio pharmacist license is required.
• Experience as a Staff Pharmacist in retail or health center settings preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide reliable per diem coverage.

Location and Schedule:

• Position is located in Massillon, OH, with preference for candidates local to Akron or nearby Uniontown for ease of access and reduced travel.
• Per diem schedule to provide on-going support as needed.
